Sure, the size of this Cooper Bessemer engine is impressive, but once it is up to speed, it has another and very pleasant quality. Can you spot it?

Jesus I'd love to have one of those....I own a lot of smaller ones, but the largest one I own is a 5 hp.....Nothing like the stack music of a large engine like that.

I'd love to! Missed the State Far ths year -- the various nifty engines on display there, a few running, always fascinate me.
ReplyDeleteHave a look at www.enginehistory.org . Also, somewhere there is an English group of hobbyists who restore aircraft engines and run them at various events. Sadly, I have been unable to re-stumble over their web address.
